About Me

Who Am I?

I am the co-founder and CEO at Smart Design Systems. Also, I am a postdoctoral fellow at Dalhousie university.
I have recently graduated with a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering. During my Ph.D. program, I gained experience in software development using C and C++ on parallel architectures. I developed a risk assessment software solution that optimized engineering design using deep learning and reinforced learning techniques. Based the experience I gained during my dissertation, I was hired to teach C/C++ as well as Object-Oriented design to students in both Engineering and Computer ScienceFaculties at Dalhousie University. In the past six years since I moved to Canada, I have worked as a teacher, researcher, consultant, and team manager. I was part of a team working on the development of a fast and parallelized finite element algorithm. The team was able to raise more than $150k government grant money for the project.
